Privacy policy

This policy covers this website. The RentalGO app is not yet released; a separate policy covering the app will be published here before it launches on Google Play and the App Store.

What we collect

If you join the early-access list, we store the email address you enter, whether you told us you are looking for a stay or want to list a property, your phone number, and the city you optionally typed. The phone number is required only if you are listing a property, because we call you once to get your first listing set up; if you are looking for a stay it is optional and you can leave it blank. That is the entire set. We do not ask for your name or your address, and there is nothing else on this site that collects information about you.

What we do with it

We use your email address for one thing: to tell you when RentalGO launches. We use your phone number for one thing: the onboarding call, if you told us you want to list a property. We use the role and city to decide which city to open next. We do not send newsletters, we do not run drip campaigns, we do not send marketing texts or WhatsApp messages, and we do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone for marketing.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies and runs no advertising trackers. There is no tag manager, no chat widget and no social embed on any page, and the fonts are served from our own domain rather than a font network.

We do count page views, using Vercel Web Analytics. Its script is served from this domain rather than from a third party, and it records the page you opened, the site you arrived from, your approximate location — country, region and city — and your device type, operating system and browser.

It does not store your IP address and it sets no cookie. The identifier it uses is a hash of your request that is discarded after 24 hours, so it cannot recognise you on a later visit and cannot follow you to any other website. None of it is connected to the early-access list: we cannot tell that whoever read a page is whoever later signed up, and we do not try to.

Who else can see it

Waitlist entries are stored in a Supabase (PostgreSQL) database, and this site is hosted on Vercel, which also provides the page-view counting described above. Both process data on our behalf as service providers. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, including IP addresses, as part of serving the page.

How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist entry until RentalGO launches and we have emailed you, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first.

Removing your data

Email support@rentalgo.in from the address you signed up with and ask us to remove you. We will delete the entry and confirm when it is done. You can also ask us for a copy of what we hold, which will be the three fields listed above.

Children

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. When the app launches, an expanded policy covering the app will replace this one.
